As if...

*Yawn*

Been a while since I got down with the blog machine. But have no fear! I just couldn't find my way out of the Media homework! (ironically - also blogging)

Firstly... EUUUUURGH!!

That's better.

As you may have guessed - I'm back at uni. The course is going 'swell. The subjects are interesting. The work is phenominal! Looks like I need to find that thinking cap I threw away...

Apart from that, it's been nice getting back into the swing of things. Confidence-wise I'm growing every day. I'm actually working with girls! Real girls!

I'm still deciding what to study in my Children's Media module. I'm contemplating looking at 90's pop culture (B*Witched/Steps/S Club7 etc). Should be good fun - I just need to be careful in giving myself too much content!

My Media and War module is about (yes you guessed it) the media... ... ... and war.
Well, anyone who knows anything about me would know I know zilch about war, so this should be interesting. Working with some great girls though (again! girls!)

My other two modules are a little treacly (my word - don't steal!) Hopefully they'll get easier.

Well, I've pretty much been ignoring my media duties in favour of playing Animal Crossing (yay!)

Eugh, that game's addictive. I hate it so much!!!

Review coming soon ^^

Take care

Startin'

Woot, third post!

Tiring day today. Just had my first full day back at uni - 9:00 till 3:00.

Not fun, I can tell you. Should be easier from next week at least. I'll have food and drink sorted to keep me going. It's always difficult getting back into the routine.

Well the girls I'm working with this term seem nice. Most people who would ever think or reading this probably already know I'm not your avarage girl. I'm about as girly as the new kid-stomping-arse-kicking boots I just bought in the corner. I dunno - maybe this'll bring out a girlier side of me?

..Maybe not

Anyways, not alot else going on in the world of Kitty. I'm still working through my Ayumi music. At the moment I'm rating and genre-ing them all. I think I've maybe done 100. So only 900 odd to go.

I might possibly start a new RPG tonight. I promised myself I'd finish Eternal Sonata first but I've not plucked up the effort yet. (You'll see why when I finally get round the reviewing it)

Oh yeah - do you like the new layout? I'll let Richard take the credit for this one, I just drew it :)

Will update when I have something more interesting to say.

Best wishes,

Kitty xx

Rainy Day

Eugh.

It's cold outside.

Just got up to go to my 9am monday lecture and she doesn't even show up!

Tsk

On the plus though - I turned 21 yesterday! Didn't party too hard (lol) just a couple of drinks and an early night. Bought some nice clothes etc though. Will maybe post some pics at some point ^^

Oh yes - I'm ginger now btw :D and loving it!!!

Not alot else to say really... But go me for writing a second post!

Take care,

Kitty xx

A Blog for XX

Yeah, so I decided it was maybe about time I got in touch with the world again. I know I do this every year but hey, who knows? Maybe this time I'll stick with it.

Stay tuned to find out.

Well, it's a brand new year. Turning 21 in a couple of days. I don't suppose that's so much of a big thing these days but it sure does make you feel old. Luckily, half the time I don't notice since I'm surrounded by students the same age. Ripley feels a long way off though. I still can't believe 3 years have passed since I moved to Lincoln! I'll also have officially been with Richard for 2 years next month. I guess time flies.

Well, so far 2009 has been relitavely quiet. I managed to finish all my uni work on time for once. Felt good to get it all in. I think I've matured alot in that sense. I understand responsibility can be rewarding. It also helps that I'm studying something I actually enjoy now! Media is great. It gives me a chance to study games, music, film, tv, radio... And call it an education!

Apart from handing in a couple of pieces of work all I've really done is sit at one screen or another. I've been hogging Richards Xmas Xbox for a while to play Eternal Sonata (stay tuned for possible review) and I also decided to clean up my entire computer. This took less time than I thought actually - I shut my eyes and pressed delete a few hundred times...

I've finally sorted my Ayumi Hamasaki music into some kind of order! (Zomg) However, in doing so I discovered I have 3 and a half days worth of her music adding up to 1013 songs. (This is why I had to clear out the rest of my important computer stuffs - to make room for Ayumi Hamasaki Super Duper Megamix G4 Sub Turbo XXX)

I made the last bit up.

Anyways, that's all my caffinated brain can come up with right now. Who knows, maybe I'll blog again tomorrow?

Wishing you all well,

Kitty xx
